I did reply to the question at the time you sent it, must have missed it. The answer is NO, I do not consider the transit Saturn on the ascendant as an indication of an influence similar to Saturn conjunct your Sun, I know most astrologers do, but I have listened to astrologers bemoaning this position for decades and their fears are rarely realized. I would say scripturally: “As a man thinketh in his (or her) heart, so it is“. We can bring all sorts of unpleasant things into our experience if we believe strong enough. Belief is your faith, whether positive,or negative, therefore a strongly held belief is our faith, and the Good Book says, “By your faith it is accorded unto you“.

If someone has several strong indicators of an affliction in their chart, then that is a warning and should be watched and one should be aware of it. I have a client who currently has a cross in his chart being triggered with transit Saturn, conjunct his natal Saturn and opposing Mars squaring Pluto, and a  couple of weeks ago I cautioned him about controlling his anger and not to create a crisis with any of his employees (he manages a restaurant here in Deerfield Beach). I saw potential violence, accidents or death (Pluto) with this aspect. Within two weeks of three of his best friends died, one by a cerebral hemorrhage at 46 years of age and the other two by suicide. He fell asleep at the wheel last week and nearly crashed his car. Again, forewarned is forearmed, I see him nearly daily and keep watching and cautioning him. Several days ago he became enraged and told me he never recalls ever shouting so loud in anger before and he felt a sharp pain go across his chest and immediately remembered my warning to him. This is just an example of the use of astrology to be a tool for caution and advise. Again, Julie, “It is written in the stars so them that run may read, and by keeping them is there great reward and by them is thy servant warned“( Psalms 19).

Hello Ron!

Hope all is well. I sent an email about a week ago. Not sure if you received it. Figured your busy as well. Just had a quick question regarding Saturn moving into Sagittarius. If someone’s rising sign is also Sagittarius does it also affect that person in a similar way as if Sag. was someone’s sun sign?
